Moss has been reported to be running 4.35 40s in his training sessions this off season.
Blowing smoke? Maybe. He's still 10 times better than what the Pats had on the field last season. Put him in with Stallworth, Washington, Caldwell, and Watson, and you've got weapons. |

Not when he takes his disruption onto the field, which he has the last year or 2. |

Is there a chance Jordan gets cut? I don't know his contract situation, but he may have become expendable. |

Everybody forgets what a malcontent Corey Dillon was until he played for a Super Bowl contender.
And BB won't put up with him. He's already been told if he has ONE controversial incident, they'll cut him. Aside from all that, we all know Bill Belichick is the perfect combination of Einstein and Obi-Wan. |

Desperation= Hoping that Randy Moss will lead you to a Super Bowl. He hasnt won on any level and he hurts your running game because he isnt a good blocker. He also demands to be the center of attention; Bellicheks offense doesnt feature any one receiver. How will he respond to getting 4-5 catches a game?

I would think there is a chance with Bush, Rhodes and Justin Fargas all in the mix. Jordan would have the least upside for the Raiders IMO. He could be a good fit elsewhere though.

The Pats have a number for each player on the squad. It's the amount they think the player is worth. If the player asks too much, he's gone. Period. (Asante Samuel, anyone?) It's smart business, which is why they've been right there for so long in this salary cap era. Look at how the other champs this decade have done. The Pats are consistently good for a reason. |

Good luck to you. Oh and by the way, he's restructuring. You have NO CLUE what his cap hit will be. Last edited by USN Squid; 04-29-2007 at 04:54 PM. |

I want him in seattle. Someone who will help take the burden off Alexander, who can catch passes from the RB postion (something Holmgren likes but does not have) and acts as an insurance policy if SA goes down again.

And that 'best front office in football' cost themselves a Super Bowl berth with the Branch trade and are now playing more to a much riskier player. |

Moss comes with great risk but the possibility of great rewards. He could go either way .If he buys into the system and plays hard, you will see the best Moss ever.

So Deion Branch was the sole reason they got to those super bowls before? They way you're carrying on in here, it certainly seems you think that way.

Not having Branch was likely the reason NE lost to Indy though. And to trade him at the beginning of the season was a boneheaded arrogant move. The weather also helped out the pats over the years..and the refs. I still believe the Vikings would be better served to play outdoors.
