When a player is drafted, what length contract is he given? I would like to set up my draft so the first pick by a team is given a 5 year deal, picks 2-4 a 4 year deal, etc. all the way down to 1 year deals for the final 10 picks on my 25 man roster. Is this, of something similar, possible?
Also, can you call for a pitcher to intentionally hit a batter when managing a game? TIA, John in TX

As I've gotten further into the demo here, seems I can do both! Oddly enough tho, no matter how many batters I intentionally hit, I don't get tossed! Is this normal or did I miss a checkbox somewhere?

Yesm you can intentinally hit as many batter as you want in a row and you the manager will never get tossed. Not sure on the pitcher, think he will never get tossed. In last years version, it was a good way to get revenge on a aging vet who won't go away.
