Career stats vs. team

I can't seem to find a way to view a batters/pitchers lifetime career stats vs. a specific team. Have I missed something or is it only possible to view these stats for the current season?

I was wondering the same thing. I could have sworn that at some point in the past I read that these stats would be kept, but I don't see them anywhere I look. I may be mistaken about what I read tho.

I was disappointed when I went to look for one of my players lifetime stats vs some pitcher and all I saw was the stats for the current season.

It would be nice if these stats were kept. Players don't see other players that much during a season to really draw any conclussion on how they do vs another player. A lifetime worth of head to head stats would tell me a lot more.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the batting stats vs. a specific pitcher were in fact lifetime stats. Anyway, what I'm looking for are the career stats of a pitcher/batter vs. a specific team, not a player.

Pitcher stats are againt teams. Only batters stats are against other players (pitchers), but as far as I remember (I don't have my computer with me at the moment) my batters do not have their entire history vs. pitchers saved. As for pitchers, same thing. Lifetime stats vs teams are not saved.

I would like them to be saved for pitchers and batters.....vs other players and vs teams.

Right, the pitching stats are against a certain team, but only for the ongoing season. It would be great if there was a way to view those stats for the player's entire career. Is this maybe possible to achieve by using the almanac?

The almanac is a snapshot in time at the moment the almanac saves each year, so you should be able to get each season's results that way, but I think you'd have to calculate the career totals yourself.
