He keeps his arm healthly, he will win that many. He has the chance to be a great pitcher.

I have a pitcher in my current season who has 100Ks and 3 BBs (all 3 intentional) for a 33.3 K/BB ratio!

look at my pitcher, never have seen someone so consistently amazing, with so few walks. Maybe an issue with player creation

I play on 1 to 5 ratings, making him a 4 3 5.

Wow,
How about a different perspective, there's as much chance of hitting a homer off these guys as drawing a walk. |

Does he get no run support? Hard to believe that guy never won 20 games with those statistics.

Hate to bump an older thread but I've been watching to see just how good a guy on my fictional team can be. I have 1-10 ratings set, don't show over 10, and my team's ace is currently at 129 k's to 4 bb's in his 14 starts. I remember back in the '90's when a Cardinals pitcher (name is eluding me for some reason) had a shot at more wins than walks, needless to say, my guy is well on the way. He currently has a 1.27 ERA and a 9-1 record and is simply dominating. The only thing that sucks is he's 38, meaning he'll be done soon.

The MLB NL Walks allowed in a season record is 18 by Babe Adams in 1920, (min. 250 IP's).
Your Ben Sheets there broke that 3 times, and flirted with it about 9 years in a row. Staggering numbers, what league settings do you run, is it just default?

Indeed it is default mate. I started in the 2006 season. His numbers before that (RL) aren't so impressive by comparison. Considering what he did since i started was pretty awesome. He won 3 triple crowns in that time and simply dominated.
