Saving Lineups

Iam playing in the commissioner mode. I am the manager of one team. I don't want to manage any others, but I woild like to be able to go into the lineups and depth chart screens and save lineups I make for other teams. I went in and changed all the lineups to the line-ups that I wanted the teams to use, but they didn't save them. They revert back to the computer's lineups. Am I doing something wrong?

Not sure

Unless you human manage each team I beleive the AI will reconstitute each team's line up. Even if you could get each team to maintain your preferred lineups the first injury would immediately force it to reconstruct new ones. Otherwise, you would have to have each team under human control continually which would be a monumental burden (and probably not much fun in thelong run).

PS - I have found that the AI (at least in past versions) did a respectable job at producing effective lineups (maybe not perfect, but very respectable). The one thing you can change from commissioner mode is other manager preferences and tendencies. Favoring speed over power for instance might result in a lineup that is quite different from the one it would select if power is favored over speed, for example.
