Scouting inconsistencies
When sorting through a player report (league free agents is one example), I've noticed that the scouting scores (OVR and POT) that show up in the far-right columns do not match those same scores as they appear in the "scouting reports" tab in the player screen.
In other words, I select my head scout (or any other scout in my organization) and sort through free agents to find highest scouting scores, based on his judgment. When I see a player that looks good, I click on him to check what my other scouts said (in the scouting tab). There, I notice a totally different score from the *same* scout I just used to sort through the free agents. Thanks.

Check the date that the scout scouted that player. Sometimes the initial one you check is old. It changes because the scout, being asked to give you ratings today, will completely reassess the player, thus different ratings.

Others have noticed something similar, probably the same. It had to do with the amateur draft, though, which was showing something different on the draft screen from the player draft report screen. Something like that. Was TTed.
Is this similar to what you're seeing? When using scouts and scouting the First-Year player draft, there are discrepancies in the potential of the players with the same scout. For instance, if the head scout scouts the players, they're potential in the draft list might be different then the potential that is in the Player's Profile on the Scouting Reports tab. In the instance that was posted online, the potential in the list is 60 whereas the potential in the scouting report is 47/80 for the same scout. TT#3186 if so.

And yes, I see it in first year draft as well as free agent screen - pretty much any screen where you can sort the view (default view, I think) by your scouts' ratings of players. Thanks.

I don't think that would be it because when you look at the list of free agents (or amateur draft) in the "default" view, where you can sort by your scouts' ratings, those ratings only appear if your scout has scouted them already. I think what you're suggesting would mean that every time you used the default view to scroll through player lists, your scouts would be instantaneously rescouting the players to generate the numbers you see in the columns. I hope this makes sense.

Actually, what you're describing is something that I noticed as well and what I logged in the TT. So, it has been logged at this point so moving the thread.
