Not surprisingly, today's day/night doubleheader has been postponed. There will be a traditional double header tomorrow. 1 more pitch and if the doubleheader goes off tomorrow, we'd all be caught up. As it stands, because of the stupidity of the umpires, we'll still be behind. And the weather doesn't look much better tomorrow, so there's not that good of a chance there will be baseball then, either.

Hahahaha... for once Hargrove manages to help the M's NOT lose a game. Though that's only temporary I'm sure, as they'll likely lose the makeup anyways.

So now the ENTIRE series with the M's has been wiped out. This sucks. MLB sucks. Their schedule makers are complete morons. We couldn't have switched the series against the M's to Seattle and had them come in to Cleveland in September? We couldn't play the Angels in Anaheim Tuesday-Thursday and then switch one of the two trips out there to be a home series? How stupid do you have to be to be Commissioner and or a scheduler for MLB?

Yes, let's take away team revenue and a very important home field advantage and play on a neutral ground. How stupid.

It does suck but I'm making the trip from Chicago to watch a game or two. Should be NO ONE in the stadium so good seats should be easy to get

For $10 a pop, you can't beat it. Still, though.. it annoys me that we have to give up a home field for the next 3 games. Every other AL Central team should have to play 3 games in a neutral field now.

Tuesday April 10th: Angels 6, Indians 7
Well, the moment Tribe fans have been waiting for for seemingly forever came tonight, as the Indians hosted the Angels in Milwaukee. The offense didn't miss a beat, coming into the game averaging 7 runs a game, scoring another 7 runs tonight. They were helped by the fact that the Angels starter was pretty wild. Sabathia pitched pretty well, gave up too many hits, and once again was hurt by poor defense. Still he gets his 2nd win of the year, and Wickowski picks up his second shaky save of the year. Indians stand at 3-1 on the year.

Nice comeback win for the Indians today.
I love watching Sowers pitch because it is nice to see someone who is able to mow down a lineup with that 95 mile per hour fastball. He could go on to win 15 games this year if he makes his 33 or so starts. Too bad Pronk's HR came a little too late to get him the victory.

Sowers has really impressed me in his first two starts. I said in this thread with his first start that he didn't have it that day, his control was all over the place. He was effectively wild enough, though, to hold Chicago to 1 hit. Today he had that spot on control back and he looked like a veteran out there. Like Kelly and FF7, I will sing the praises of Travis Hafner. Hell of a bomb.

Cleveland will be swept this weekend.
Side Note: my poor attempt at a trollyism.

Hafner crushed that thing. The pitch was about eye-level, too.

As long as the Sox don't have pitching meltdowns like they did in the opening series, this will be much better. For us, not you guys.
