Can someone tell me how to do this?

I assume it's rather simple but I can't figure it out. I have an MLB world template with some fictional players. I want to delete every last fictional player in the universe, import real 2006 players using the Lahman database, schedule an inaugural draft, and then fill the minors with fictional players for any spots left over.

How can I do this?

the game setup, release all players.

the FA screen, delete all FA's.

game setup - import

game setup - release all players & schedule inaug. draft

game setup - fill minors

should do it.

Thanks for the response! A question: where under game setup is import (I only see import rosters and import stats)?

Ouch. I hadn't noticed you wanted the Lahmans.


I'm not sure how to do that. But I can give you a long way around that would work.

Start a new league, historical, 2006, using Lahmans. Once it's created - Export Rosters. Then you can go to your other league, and import them. After you've got them imported, you can delete the other league.

There may be a faster way to do it, but I'm pretty sure that'd work.
