Yes, although it is the Northern Premier League rather than the Isthmian League that is the third. I expect there are other examples further down at county level, but they are usually prefixed with something that shows that they are for a certain area.
This won't have anything like that - if they had called it "Blue Square Non-League Premier League" then to me that would have been much better. But I'm not a real fan, so I don't know if they really care what it's called. It might be fine, but to me it seems a bit demeaning to those clubs and their fans.

This story popped up today and reminded me of a story in yesterday's papers over here.

Yesterday's story was that Mourinho had said if he left Chelsea he wouldn't manage another English team right away but would do so in the future, I'm just reading between the lines as imo he'll still be at Chelsea next season butttttttttttttt how about he leaves Chelsea and goes to Madrid and then becomes Man Utd's next manager in about 2-3 years when Ferguson retires

Made his name playing for Liverpool and Newcastle United, one of the few players to have played for both Merseyside teams (Liverpool & Everton). Had a decent partnership with Lineker* for England, good player linking up the midfield with the forwards, started his career with Carlisle United (My Step Dads team) actually watched him a few times in his early career then he had a couple of spells in North America think for Vancouver.

He actually signed for Man utd but don't think he ever played for them before moving to Newcastle and helped them get promoted into what is now the Premiership before moving to Liverpool (record at the time I think), then moved to Everton had a spell back at Newcastle think he even played in Australia.

He's actually manager of Newcastle in my game but very doubtfull if he would or ever will be manager of Newcastle in real life, to be honest he's never mentioned when any jobs come up so him suddenly managing a Premiership team is very unrealistic.

Not known for his film star looks and when he talks always reminds me of somene with a bag of marbles in their mouth

One of the things I hate about FM is that individuals have either playing history of coaching history but never both

That is one aspect where I wish the game was more like OOTP is having an almanac function to dig into your football universes history more easily and in greater detail.

And when did Felix Magath become the fitness coach of Chelsea?

Not as I know of, last time I heard his name he was at Newcastle in some coaching roll maybe youth team but don't quote me on that.

He actually went back to Canada after we let him go. He played another six months in the NASL before Newcastle picked him up after a patchy start to their season had seen them out the league cup and misfiring in the league.

Are you suggesting the Northern Premier is a higher standard than the Isthmian Premier? Speaking as someone who lives in both areas and watches a fair bit of both competitions I'd put the Isthmian league light years ahead, and indeed if we are going to grade the three tier seven premier leagues the Northern Premier would also be behind the Southern.

No, read the context I posted it in.

Northern Premier League Premier Division
Isthmian Football League Premier Division
Southern Football League Premier Division

Only one of those uses the "Premier League" suffix for their name, which is supposedly what the Conference will be using as well - and that is I guess because there is already a Northern League.

The Conference are not doing that at all, they are just adding a level label to their top flight now that they actually administer multiple tiers. You will not be hearing the Sponsor Premier North for example.

You are right about the reasons for the premier in the Northern name. When the league was formed the old Northern League was already well established, and the name was an intentional shot across the bows.
