Minor League Promote/Demote Issue Post-Patch

Just saw this for the first time. Never really looked into this, so not sure if it occured pre-patch or not. kind of over the top here with the same entry in triplicate sometimes. (Can't imagine this being good for disk space down the line)

I should also note that this is a converted 2006 league, and that the txt file looks strikingly different after 01.01.1956 which is when I converted.

Here is the team transaction log also

Do you have your minor leagues limit set to less than 35 players?

My A level is set to 40
My AA level is set to 30
My AAA level has no limit

Should my AA level be at least 35?

The game says that only the LOWEST level should not be less than 35

I believe that is exactly it. When this problem first surfaced, it was determined that the only way to keep things in order was to put in that warning so users would keep to at least 35. The lower limits don't allow enough flexibilty to the AI and it seems to trip over itself with, sign and releases and promotions and demotions.

His setting is correct above..

AA at 30 is ok.

His lowest level is A

His lowest level is fine and follows the suggestion.

FWIW, Teams in AA that have a limit of 30 players all have 25 on their roster, while the A level clubs keep close to the 40 player limit.

I'll put my AA to 35 and see what happens, but I'm thinking it is not going to help.

Have you looked at your player's morale after all that flopping around?

The reason I ask is because this bug:

http://ootpdevelopments.com/board/sh...d.php?t=145286

was reported earlier. I notice there isn't "lateral" movement on your example, but if you did have any, the bug you notice would escacerbate the one I linked.

funny enough, for some reason, changing the limit from 30 to 35 in my AA league did the trick. I stand completely corrected.

I do think something should be added that if you are going to use Roster limits, 35 should be the minimum you can select.
