Staff Hiring In Online League

Hey there. I'm in a converted 2006 to 2007 online league and when I go to hire staff I have no action button to use to make offers to the available managers, coaches, etc. I'm on a Mac, if that makes any difference.

So... is that the way it's supposed to be? Or should I have a button and something's not set right in the league? Or is it a straight-up bug? Or is it an artifact of converting from 2006 to 2007? Or am I just unlucky?

And and all assistance will, of course, be appreciated.

Update: I can make staff signings, I just have to do it via right-clicking (well, its Mac CTRL-Click equivalent, anyway). I still don't see an Action button on the individual Scouts' screens, though. Make of it what you will, there's a workaround at least.
