3170 - 2nd year scouts not scouting draft pool

The game tells me the head scout is scouting the draft pool and in fact he is not. None of the scouts will do anything with the draft pool. This is the second time in a row with a new league.

Made it to the draft and no scouting even though the game says they are scouting, yet they are not busy and still scout minor leagues. Anyone?

No emails of scout completion prior to draft as I have gotten in year 1.

I have the same problem and posted about it because I couldn't find a post about it till now. I hope someone will answer either one of us.

I was able to reproduce this so added that to the notes. I'm not sure how to get around it except that maybe a scout that hasn't been used in the previous draft be used in this one? Has anyone tried that to see if it works? I would try it but used all my scouts in the first draft in my test league. Oops. I'll try it again when I get the chance.

I have tried it with other scouts and it works but when you only keep 4 scouts total and you don't want to get rid of them after 4 years you have no scouts left to do it.

are you the actual manager of the team or are use using the "act as" drop down to manage your team? There is a difference and I believe I read somewhere else on these boards that the "act as" could be to blame for the scout not scouting.

Bump . . . Faaip, can you please respond to bp_'s question? He's right. If you are a commissioner using the "Act As" function, you will not receive any scouting reports.

This has happened again, I am the manager. Could it be a problem with a template. This is wasting a lot of time and is annoying.

Set up a fictional league and the same occurs, scout previously used will not scout. This should be a priority as game cannot go forward.

This was claimed fixed in the first patch and verified by the beta testers. If you continue to have trouble with this issue, please contact a moderator to reopen this thread.
