Formula 1 or any other road racing would be a dream come true and I know that the area of auto racing management sims is practically dead, beyond one group taking on F1CM, I haven't heard any update from them and I don't know when they will publish that game or whatnot.

I think if SI took on auto racing, it would be the greatest thing ever. I don't even care about the license, just auto racing in general would be amazing.

Hmmm...track and field.

No, really. You're a pro track & field organization (or college coach, I guess), and you recruit athletes, offer them contracts (or schollies, mostly partial) to get them on board, market them, determine what their best events are and which steroids they should take. You decide which entry fees to pay, which meets to enter them in (don't want them to finish last nor always finish first!), how they train and when they can have sex. Do you make them watch Chariots of Fire or Rudy the night before a big meet? These are all important decisions!

Lastly, you have to hit buttons really fast to run, like Track & Field in the arcade back in the day. Yeah, you know how we roll.

If Marc Duffy reads this please consider sliders for the following in FM2008:

Injury frequency
Financials
Cards

And could SI consider (maybe as an expansion pac) a customizable version of FM that would allow for increased fictional football but would also support historical sim/replays.

Please??

Horse/Greyhound Racing
Auto Racing (Stock, F1, FIA GT, whatever!)

A setup of games with both college and pro titles, with the ability to feed from one level to the next. I'd like to see the following sports with this setup:

Baseball (Obviously)
Football (American)
Hockey

Considering my avatar, I have only one answer. Swimming Manager would be the ultimate niche product (even though it's one of the largest sports in the United States based on number of participants on competetive teams).

Seriously, though, I've always wished that one of the individual sports (Swimming, Track and Field, etc.) could be simmed, with a detailed physical development model that you can impact through workout styles, etc. Don't know if it work; love to see it seriously tried.

NHL Hockey. I hear that there is a void to fill in that area.

They allready did. NHL Eastside Hockey Manager. Great game! Sadly nobody bought it so they decided to put it to sleep just a month ago.

id really like to see a college basketball sim. Will fictional players coming in every year it could be really fun. Plus theres a lot to do dealing with recruiting and things like that. Managing younger more mysterious players would be pretty fun

I would suggest Total College Basketball. You can get exactly that. Made by Wolverine Studios

Solid games with 2d animations of the action. Check out their forums as well if you have any questions.

Gary is a solid developer, and I personally like his UI & overall game presentation better than any other "text sim" on the market. My opinion of course.

I'd vote (American) Pro-Football. As many have already mentioned...FM w/ OOTP customization & historical capabilities...yeah, I'd buy it.

well, considering that since SI only sells its games online, it reaches a more global audience than simply americans. soccer would be a better choice. like a world cup soccer game setup just like in real life, where the world cup is held every 4th year, and in the 3 in-between years are pretty much qualifying type seasons to see which nations are most deserving of entering the tournament.

it would cool, you could take over any modern nation in the world today and get it into the world cup (it would be fun to see st. kitts and nevis win it all!!!!)
