Can't option day-to-day injured player
I have a player that was injured day-to-day, scheduled to be healthy in 5 days. I wanted to option him to AAA, but I got the message, "This player is injured; put him on the DL instead!"
I have the 2.037 version of OOTP. I'll move beyond this buggy situation soon, but I have the save game where this and other stuff is occurring. |

This isn't a bug. In MLB you can't option a player to the minors who is hurt either. The union would have a fit.

I'll defer to your greater wisdom on this matter. Thank you for responding.
There's a lot more I could say, but I'll just add a small plea for flexibility. P.S. The player in question COULD have played, reduced by 20% (he had a sore hammy or some such). I wouldn't have tried to do it with a player who was actually OUT and couldn't play. |

I would suggest just moving him to the 15-day DL and then option him to the minors after his time on the DL expires. Just a small extra step to have to deal with that shouldn't come up too often.
