Illegal number of players....

I just started playing around with OOTP 2007 and I'm currently using the World of Baseball rosters. I'm managing a team in the German league and simming through the first month (Jan). It gets to the 19th and keeps stopping me saying Edinburg has an illegal number of players on their roster. Edinburg's not even in my league. Shouldn't the AI be controlling their roster? What's wrong here?

I ran into this as well. Do you have a max age for the league the team in question is in? I did, so I unchecked the setting and ran the computer manager on all teams, and the problem was fixed. That's all I could figure out

I had the same problem but re-ran the computer manager on all teams and it resolved the problem
