3070 - Problem with unretire retired players
Whenever I unretire a player, after the player signed with a team, play a few more season (or just a few more games in one season), the player retired automatically, two things will happen:
1. new season stats wont be recored 2. the player is completely gone. Has anyone encounter the same problem?? |

Do you think you could post your league file somewhere where Markus can download it to take a look at this? After you make it available, we can log this issue and hopefully Markus can track it down.

Thanks~ and sure, please download the sample file at
http://www.ou-online.com/TPBLSample.lg.zip Search for a hall-of-fame player name "Tyan-yu Mao" and do the following thing: 1. Unretire him manually. 2. Edit his attributes a little bit so he will be signed by a team. 3. He will play one more season before automatically retire again at the age 45. And you will find out his new stats in Season 1971 won't be recored. ------------ I think this bug is related to Hall of Fame selection... 'cause now I can reproduce the bug in the following way: 1. A great player retired automatically 2. Being selected to the Hall of Fame by computer 3. Unretire manually. 4. Sign to a team. 5. After playing one or two more seasons... 6. The player retired again by computer. One of the two following things will happen: He's selected to the Hall of Fame again, but new stats are gone... (for example, if he has 340 wins before coming out of retirement, he got another 20 wins, then retired again, his stats still show only 340 wins) or he's completely gone... |

then I found out this will happen to any retire player, not just hall of famer... the player stats will be gone, or the player himself will be completely gone like he never exists before...
