Patience. He's working on it. I'm sure he's not giving up on it at this point.

He did mention in the former thread that he wouldn't be touching the set until Wednesday because he needed to work on his own projects. We might not here from him until after then.

He also guaranteed a set last night. Looks like we're waiting another day

My rant time, as Popeye says I had all I can stands I can't stands no more.

Do you people hold yourselves as accountable as you are AP.

The guys volunteered to do this. He doesn't have to release it to anyone. He is doing so to help the community. I don't care what he promised, the guy has other obligations that come first. This is a game, he is giving freely of his time to release a roster set, for a game.

I am also waiting for the set, but my life won't end if he doesn't release it. I will find other ways to enjoy the game until he has the time to release it.

All the mods in the OOTP community do a great job, and I appreciate all the time they put into it so we can better enjoy the game. Instead of hounding them every five minutes, maybe encourage and thank them.

Im thinking of buying a car. I am really in love the 2006 Pontiac GTO. being canadian, this involves brining one in from the US as they were only manufactured there (from what I have been told). Anyone have any experiences with purchasing a car from 'out of country'.

The rosters were done. We haven't heard from him after the storm. My guess is either some family emergency has come up or he doesn't have power. Don't be so quick to judge him.

Everyone needs to relax a bit and lay off AP, he isn't the roster maker, he is just the guy cleaning up stuff at the end. I am the person who made the roster file, and created the rating system and built the stuff.

He is the guy trying to take some of the stress off my plate so that with the 500 hours I have already put in on this project I don't strain my marriage, ignoe my kids or neglect my clients, or blow a gasket trying to make everyone here happy.

Work and family come in the way of things at times. Yes he promised it last night, but mother nature said NO. So that means he will get it out as soon as he can, unfortunately he seems to have no internet connection today. I talked to his wife earlier and that is the problem that he has run into.

With all the beef erich and AP get, I am surprised anyone even wants to make rosters. Doesn't seem like some people even appreciate the hard work.

That's a very absurd statement.

He's the one that volunteered and posted that he was going to do it.

Like now we are suppose to beg for him to release them?????

Something just ain't right here.

No, but is patience and respect so much to ask in return? I mean, what else are you going to do for them as a trade for their efforts? Can we not at least be kind and lose some of the attitudes?

Unbelievable.

He did do them, and then mother nature interfered. Stuff happens. People in the real world set deadlines, only to have those deadlines pass without any harm...so why get upset over a volunteer who is doing something he really doesn't HAVE to do?
I have the game and haven't touched it - mainly because I too like to start off my multi-year sim with the current major leaguers. I like having the current major leaguers set the records for the future generations to break. But I am not losing sleep over it. The real 2007 hasn't even begun yet, for crying out loud.

What I am sure was going to happen had he released last Sunday night, was the exact same people complaining about him now were gonna be same people complaining that the set wasn't 100% complete. Even though he stated that we'd be better off waiting for the OD release. People were gonna whine about how the service years are off or the contracts were wrong. AP asked the community for help on a big roster project and got very few takers. If all those complaining having a problem with whats going on now, should maybe have offered to help him out maybe you'd have a roster set right now.

Kudos to AP and Erich...release whenever you can.

Can't we cut this out already.
This argument is endless and no one will let
anyone get the last word.
How about we ignore a complaint if we don't like it.
One post on another thread started an all out nuclear exchange.
I'm glad none of you were in charge during the cold war.
We'd all have been fried. If the bickering keeps up they are going to lock out this thread too.
Let it rest.
PLEASE.

I think you know where you can shove that "promise".
