3153 - Drunk Baseball Player

I was wondering if the following off the field incident will get this player kicked off the Harvard Crimson Baseball Team...(Or should he be given kudos for using his Harvard smarts to invent the automobile?)

Monday, September 25th, 1815: Bernal Involved in Accident
The Harvard Crimson told reporters this morning that Berry "Bug Eyes" Bernal has a inflammation of the left knee and will be unable to play for 4 weeks while the injury heals. He suffered the injury when he collided with a parked car while drunk.

"It was an unfortunate accident," said the Crimson public relations director, "Hopefully Berry will soon be back with the club."

LOL.

He will probably be given an award for discovering the world's first parked car in 1815

Well, "Bug Eyes" must have been drinking the hard stuff.

Place this under the "My memory of real world history has been replaced by my fictional league's history." Berry Bernal is the first man to design, build, and drive into a car.

He hit a parked car the same year as Waterloo? We should have been selling this tech to the English so that they could have beaten Napoleon without so much trouble.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

doesn't the game not "technically" support pre-1901 leagues?

It does not support historical imports very well in the 19th Century. You can do a fictional OK.
