Probably a dumb logo question

Is there somewhere where I can download historical logos? I downloaded a set from Padrefans excellent site but the names don't seem to be valid for OOTP2007. Thanks for any help.

Did you check out Comedian's Historical logo set from my site? It has 'em all...

I'd highly suggest you try these, as PadresFan said. I've downloaded them all and found them to be incredibly accurate. Nice work, Comedian!

I downloaded those but they don't have all those numbers after the name. Doesn't the game need that? If not, how do I get them in the game. I believe they are in the right folder (my documents/sports interactive/ootp baseball 2007/data/logos). For example the Red Sox logo is named Boston_Red_Sox.png. Thanks.

I'm not an expert on OOTP2007 yet, but I don't think the file name means anything if you manually import them via the Team Options page. You may be looking to short-cut by simply moving the data, but it seems like the easiest way is to enter the Team Logos, Colors, and Uniforms Editor and loading the logos for each team. This feature allows you to simply browse to whatever file you want to use and select it. The file's naming convention (I think) is irrelevant.

Does that help or did I miss your point?

I appreciate the help. I downloaded Anderson Utililities Logo Watchdog and I had Comedian's historical logos and I just ran the Utility. I then went into each team (like I tried before doing this) and hit the "find" button and it found the logo automatically. It only didn't work for one team and I finally figured out how to get it to search. This was all done from the "options and ballparks" screen on each team.

So yes, those weird numbers aren't needed. My basic rule of solving a problem is to panic needlessly at first, calm down, and then use my head. I should skip the first 2 steps and just use my head.

Once again I appreciate the efforts of those who replied to help. Thank you.

Do you have to be in commissioner mode to go to each team to download the logos, unifirms hats etc????
