noob: how do I delete a "game"/league?
This is my first foray into OOTP and so I created a new "game" today as a test (practice), and successfully imported players from Gambo's database. After messing with it, the league structure and rules weren't exactly what I wanted, and now I'd like to delete this entire league (I think the interface calls it "game").
I tried deleting the folder in MyDocs under saves, but when I go back into the game that league/game is on top of the main menu still "Continue Jeff's Test Game". How can i just delete everything and start over as if this one never existed? TIA |

Yeah, I'd like to see this "fixed" in a patch, but it's not really a bug. It doesn't cause the game to crash or anything. Just delete the league from the My Documents folder like you said. Then create a new league. Then next time you open the game you'll be able to continue from your new league.

Dola,
You've probably figured that out by now.

Yeah, you had it fine. It's just that the Continue Game button always remembers the name of the last game you played, whether it happens to still exist or not.
You can delete games from the Game menu as well, but personally I find that deleting them from Windows Explorer is much faster. |
