question about saving?

My question is, can you set it to where you don't want to automatically save the game such as when you exit the game. I know there is an option in the game setup to change the save automatically option to once a day, week, month or year, and I set it to once a year. But everytime I leave the game screen such as going to the main OOTP page or just exiting the game completely it automatically saves up to that point. I don't necesarily always want to save it when I quit

Nope. Markus long ago made the executive decision to set the game up that way, and no amount of community cries to change it has phased him.

I don't think it's possible. If you mess something up and don't want it to save, hardkill it using task manager.

Use this method at your own risk.
