I just pre-ordered. It tells me that I purchased at 2AM on Thursday. I hope Marc meant 1 on Thursday EDT. A few extra more hours of availability would be great.

.I did leave the beta testing team though after the release of 2006. Well, no, rather, they didn't ask me to stay, it's fine. Beta testing was fun, it was nice to be able to contribute to making the game better. In any case, I've only heard good about this new version, I hope current beta testers are right .

I was thinking, it would be beneficial for them to release the game in the middle of the night (1 AM EST). This way the downloading will be more sporatic and not all at once. If it is released tommorrow during the day, most people will be at their computers refreshing and checking every 10 minutes and then will all be downloading at once, thus causing stress to the servers.
If people are downloading some at night, and then the rest when they wake up in the morning, all of the downloading will be spread out over a 8 our time frame and not all at the same time.

I can't believe no one has confirmed what he meant when he said 1.

And he has to sleep sometime. Hopefully he'll get into work early in the morning.

Well, It's 6AM in London right now. My calculations say that Mark will be waking up in the next hour. Give him an hour to do what he's got to do (eat, shower, shave, etc) and then upload the file and send out emails. What else is there to do that's more important? Nothing really

I'm here guys, got to evaluate the feedback from the overnight runs.
AS I said the other day, the game should be live before people arrive at work Eastern time |

Hey I'm in Eastern time but I work the night shift. Where's my game???
Just kidding but the anticipation is maddening. I hope the feedback says "give it to them before they hurt themselves."
