Bulldog- I liked Pink Floyd, but I hated The Wall, I'm more into Meddle. Even though Kid A is my favorite album ever (see my avatar) yours is still great, it goes great with my former one

Thanks a bunch!

Great job.

Markus, you just saved me $60, I was going to buy that other graphic game also but now, there's just no need for it. Your game has everything I want!

All I have been able to do so far is read through the manual and I'm already well chuffed!

Just need to finish the last 8 games of the season then I convert it to OOTP5 and get going tomorrow.

Really looks amazing, well done to EVERYONE involved, you can go take that trip to an exotic beach now....just remember to work on OOTP6 while your there

A big thanks for years of entertainment that none of us thought would be possible at the level that you have consistently delivered.

Thank you to Markus and the gang at .400 ... the game is sooooo addicting! Reliving my childhood all over only this time playing so much baseball, but this time there are no dice to roll.

As a hockey fan and football fan, am looking forward to .400's release of their hockey and football games ... I may never see my family again ...........................

bump

Maybe this one should even get a Sticky. Found it back on page 8 or 9 very late in the evening.

The developer/s have no illusion that when new versions and new games fall into the hands of an eagerly awaiting audience that the shouts of triumph will outweigh the painstaking and critical examination of their work. In one respect, at least here at .400, it speaks well of the designers/contributors that the faithful have been involved enough and feel confident enough to contribute themselves promptly and courteously in order to keep up the quality of the designer's intent.

I applaud the entire community for its voracious endeavors to put together such a remarkable product. While we reward the work with some meager words and our dollars, our reward is actually greater given the hours and hours of enjoyment (yes, trying to get over that learning curve is even enjoyable) with a truly well honed and expertly conceived product. That it only took as long as it did I find additionally remarkable.

Thanks Markus! I suppose I'm saying all these comments are really good because they're occuring at all. What care and attentiveness you have inspired by demonstrating them yourself.

Let's keep the lather building.
Last night in my first run at manager, I brought my underachieving fictional team from 12 1/2 games back to tie for the division lead. In the one game playoff, I had bases loaded with one out and my cleanup hitter in the top of the ninth ground into a double play with the score tied. In the bottom I opted not to put in my stud closer and go with a middle reliever playing for extra innings but he gave up a two run dong to lose and get knocked out of the playoffs. Even though I lost it was a blast.

The game is robust, deep but not debilitating, and addicting. (Sounds like a coffee ad) Markus, what you've done in 5 installments amazes me. For a non-American to come in and go after the most ravenous sports fans for the American pasttime and not just succeed but become the market leader is incredible. It's like me creating the ultimate camel racing game that fans not only enjoy in Quatar but cherish. You've got a solid franchise, don't squander it like Long John Silvers.
