OOTP5 crashes when importing game files

I play in a league where we play out our games and use the import feature to update the master league file. the game crashes when importing game files, has this issue been brought up for the patch?

Could you tell me exactly what files are sent back and forth so I can check this?

I take the .exp, box and log files. Put the box and log files into the League_News_Box folder and the .exp file into the ExpImp folder. I then open the game and hit import and the game crashes.

Is the ".exp" the team export file?

Ok, couple of questions...

Did the GM's either add players to their rosters OR release players? OR make any trades?

Did you also export the "team" file? They need to be sent as well.

No, there was no roster changes to the teams. I did not export the team files. I never had to export the team files in OOTP4, is this new?
