Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

I think my situation is more pitiful than anyone.
I am going to take next Friday off. But I can't tell my wife about it or she will flip out. So Friday morning I am getting ready in the morning like I'm going to work. Get dressed, drop the kids off, then spend all day at the library with OOTP.

Damn, I'm such a nerd!

Marc, I sent you an email about someone who preordered during 20% discount period and he didn't get the discount. Not sure if you followed up on that or not?

Sent about a week ago.

Was it a 20% discount or a 10% discount?

Both discounts were offered at different times, but to different client groups, if I'm remembering correctly.

Marc, with these problems coming up will there be an announcement on these boards when the pre-order emails start going out?

Once emails are started is there a accurate estimate on how long it takes before all emails should be delivered? In other words if you announced emailing just began at HH:MM time can you then say with any accuracy that you should receive your email within X number of hours?

At least then guys would know to wait X number of hours before figuring they got missed. Could alleviate many "well it's been two hours since emailing began and I still don't have mine" posts.

Sorry Marc, but that is a pretty weak response. If a person orders under a discount period expecting a discount, then he/she should be entitled to a discount. Pretty much any store would reverse the charge and put it through again with the applicable discount.

Dumb question - sorry

I pre-ordered the game. Where do I go to download the game? The link in the email confirmation?

The game is supposed to be released Mar 23, and I assume a link will be provided at that time.

Mar 22 for pre-orders, based on the OP of this thread.

Well, weak as you think it is - it's the truth. I have no ability to go back and amend someones processed transaction.

People are entitled to a discount, if they use the code provided at the time of ordering. If I were to go into a store and order goods but forget my discount card - it's a high chance I would not get the discount retrospectivelyif I went to the store 2 days later with the right card.

Maybe not in the UK, but over across the pond, it would actually be pretty simple. You just return the product and repurchase it using the discount card. While I certainly understand the argument several weeks after the fact, the people who immediately raised the issue during the discount period (there were several, from what I remember) should have been given the ability to redo the transaction and recieve the discount.

I wonder if anyone in Kiribati has pre-ordered the program. In order for them to get the download on their Thursday it would have to be up by 10am GMT on the Thursday as they are 14 hours ahead.

Before 10am sounds good though because I can they give myself a day off work
