Just curious...may help SI out too

Curling! Or an American Football version of Football Manager/EHM. NFL, college, AFL, CFL, etc. With a nice 2D match engine.

Pro (American) football, with the fictional and historical abilities of OOTP.

F1 Racing or maybe even stock car racing
Boxing would also be nice, it is a shame the title bout development team is not going to do a full RPG style game The boxing engine itself is superb but since you fight the matches in a vaccum the game wears thin very quickly for me. I have a feeling SI is in talks with the F1 Championship managment team and will publish that game. Which is nice since it has been in the works for four years |

More seriously, I'd consider buying an American Football game from SI. I really like OOTP and WWSM. |

Seems to me that they should venture into something that hasn't been done yet, like Wolverines Total Pro golf.As for NFL football, FOF 2007 is a really great game and has the 1960-2005 draft files for historical play. Wolverine studios has a real good college and pro basketball game, and Grey dog has the best College football game on the market, and a couple good wrestling games as well.So you would think it would be it the companys best interest to built a niche game thats popular, that hasnt been done lately. Like Horse Racing,Auto racing,Olympic sports ,boxing etc.

I disagree. All the sports mentioned would have a much narrower audience (except maybe NASCAR...which I personally despise. It's NOT a sport!!!
), and thus a smaller potential for profit.Obviously they want to make money, and Pro Football done correctly would tap into the millions of Fantasy Football fans out there. FOF 2007 is good...but it could improved upon |
