Markus: manually typing directory paths for files

please, please, please give us the ability to browse to a file location instead of having type out the entire path to file.

Example, i want to convert a OOTP4 League. I click on File->Import OOTP4 League. Then i have to type out..

C:\Program Files\400 Software Studios\OOTP5\Feb23Career3003.lg

Why, oh why, cant there be a browse button? Or atleast let us be able to paste into that field so we can just paste the location from the explorer location field.

Isnt this pretty easy to add? This current method has whiffs of 5 years ago.

By the way, the default install location for TDCB is C:\Program Files\.400 Software Studios\

But for OOTP5, it installs into a 400 Studios dir, note there is no period before 400. Might want to get on of these on the same boat.

ootp5 looks great so far!

I definitely agree. After screwing up the path name location twice I moved my league folder into the main C directory just so I would only have to type C:\ and then the file name

blah, i think default location for OOTP4 was Program Files anyways...

I find it much easier to type out:

c:\program files\ootp4\_____.lg as opposed to browsing through things.

Church, consider yourself lucky. When I was younger we had to bang 1's and 0's together to get any computing done.

Sorry, guess I'm just one of those people who still clings to a little DOS and actually prefers typing some things out instead of using GUI things. =)

Another pet peave of mine(not OOTP related) is watching people cut/copy/paste things and use the mouse to do it all instead of keyboard shortcuts.

My wife drives me crazy by always right-clicking, choosing copy, moving somewhere, right-clicking, etc... I go batty.
