There was a girl who made it as a pitcher for like one season in the rejects league (independant league). I don't know, I think technically speaking it could be possible for a woman or two to make it in baseball. It's not so much about strength as it is about coordination and proper hitting and throwing technique. As for managers, I bet you there could be some great female managers. There ought to at least be that option in OOTP5. My guess is there might be a couple of females playing the game. If I were them, I wouldn't want to have to marry a woman. Plus, last i knew, two women couldn't make a baby (LOL!)

I have to agree with YankeePride. If I girl were trained to be a professional baseball player from a young age I would say yes there could be some women good enough to be MLB players. As of now, probably not. I played little league baseball and there was only one girl ever in any division beyond T-Ball. This girl wasn't really athletic, but because she was being trained to play baseball from such a young age she was a decent player. Now, if you take a women who is athletically gifted and they train hard to eventually become a major leaguer then they could do it.

The reason I really dont think there any women now who could do it is because very few women do the neccesary training for the sport. And why would they? There is no future for a women in the sport of baseball currently, so if they do have talent then they play softball or some other sport. IMO, for women to have a future in baseball, they need gifted young women to breakthrough and start playing minor league ball, so that maybe that little girl in Houston will dream of playing major league baseball instead of becoming Tennis Player, etc.

On a personal note, I would have no problem with a women playing in the majors if she was good enough to be there.
