Will Career Leader Board Be Back?
I was wondering if the career leader board from v.6 will be back in '07. Thanks.

In a different fashion. When going to see the history reports for the league, you can see an outrageous number of stats and info, including the all-time season and career leaders in many statistical categories.
Then when you click any of those links, you see the entire list for the history of your league since the beginning of time. It's my favorite thing to check. Markus has also added milestones, key achievements like 3+ HR or 15K games, hitting streaks, etc. to the same history reporting area. The depth of stats and quickness and ease of getting them are the most important foundation for being able to take OOTP 2007 seriously -- and to compare it to any other competitor ever offered on the market. Remember: I own Action PC, PureSim, Baseball Mogul, Diamond Mind, Strat-O-Matic and was in a strat league for 22 years. I'm saying this for the first time in all versions of OOTP, OOTP 2007 has now raised the bar for everyone.

Thanks for the reply. One thing that I thought took a step back in OOTP 2006 was the lack of league history, which is something that is very important to me. I am getting even more excited about 2007. |

I hope to bring my fictional historical league from 2006 to 2007. Although I'm only four complete seasons into it I'd hate to have to ditch it. How much of my league history will be usable by the new almanac/ leader boards etc?

Actually, it IS there in OOTP 2006. Go to the Keague Menu (the abbreviation for your league)->History. The career leaderboards are in the "Leaderboards" section. The other things (3+ HR games, no-hitters,etc) is under the "Accomplishments" section. I believe the accomplishments were added as part of 1.0.3..
