Its great to see so much work and time being put into something like fictional player photos!!

While to many, it may only be a cosmetic feature, it will enhance fictional leagues (especially my league) exponentially. I will be so excited to be able to put some good faces to names of my league's players.

Keep it up! it seems like at this rate. The facegen part of this game could soon be worthy as a standalone utility!!

It will. Having faces for unreal players will contribute mightily to not just the suspension of disbelief associated with fictional leagues but to the player baseball cards as well, which will help even more in turn.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but here goes..

I have a request/suggestion for facegen uniforms: It's not anything major but might help with appearances.

I noticed looking at the screenshots that the "undershirt" looks like it is either on top of or a part of the uniform itself. I know Andreas is working on the size of the undershirt exposure, but I think some sort of trim line is needed for the uniform itself right at the v-neck area.

Also is there a way to give some of these guys a bit more of a tan. I know a little about the FaceGen demo, and how it makes a lot of light skinned images, so I know that might be a problem that can't be fixed.

See the D-Backs player, he looks ghostly sick.

Sorry for the nit-picking.

Personally I think its the best post I've read in days. But then thats because it reminded me of a Blackadder quote. [off-topic] 'I'm not having anyone staring in disbelief at my willy suspension [/off-topic]

But seriously, its going to be awesome!

I'm sorry...I've been away from the boards for quite awhile because I've been too busy with my OOTP2006 universe.

Is FaceGen an add-on, or is it in-game? I'm really confused about that, as I've never had much success in using these "extra" pieces of the game in the past.

Careful, Kai. You're one word away ("the") from trademark infringement trouble with EA Sports.

If I generate a face that is perfect for me, but it does not have a beard. Will I be able to keep the face and add a beard to it? Also if player A gets a generated face that is perfect for player B, would I be able to copy the face to player B?

Couldn't help thinking the same thing myself.

Hey, what gives with the avatar? Uniform in for cleaning?

Has just been added. You can now skip through the beards and hair colors.

I see it can update pics for weight gain/loss. I assume this means players will have weight fluctuations during their career? I hadn't seen anything like this in previous versions. How does the game determine such things?

Yes, it does! That's part of the player development, and has to do with a person's "work ethic" rating. AFAIK this has been in OOTP 2006, too.

I have seen this question asked a few times and I'm not sure it's been completely answered yet.......and if it has........apologies in advance........

When a player retires and does NOT become a coach or manager, does is FaceGen face continue to age or does it become "frozen in time", so to speak?

Probably! The more we add to the whole module, the more it gives people inspiration to ask for better things.

It will be frozen if the player retired. Until he comes back, then it will be the same face, but with updated age

You can even "freeze" a player picture now in the player's profile. It's easy solved since I just had to rename the picture file from player_4711.png to firstname_lastname.png.
