You can take your Fondas, Switzers, Albrights, Beattys, Powels, and Haggars and I'll won't blink. But dammit man, why take Billy Dee Williams? No Lando!? Who will pitch the smooth flavor of Colt 45? |

That's nice lewis31lewis52 all we need is Osama Bin Laden when we reach 1957, if Osama struck haemorhaggic flu down, then we're happy thanks to the United States of America, Iraq and Afghanistan

I hope he knows I was joking about the "that's good, right?" part.
If not, then

Heh, when I first read that I thought "Hey I don't recall there ever really being superheroes in our world. It took me a bit to realize that you meant the first superhero character to make his appearance and not the first time the newspapers reported the appearance of a superhero.

Sadly (according to Wkipedia) the last Thylacine appeared to have died of neglect even though it was in a zoo and on the protected species list.

1937 Prospect Watch: QUINN MACLEAN ![]() This young man is the picture of consistency. Though not as flashy as many of the prospects we often tout, Maclean has one advantage over them...scouts can not find a flaw in his game. This young lad has already garnered a reputation for obsessive study of his opponents. He may not have a nasty curve or blinding velocity, but he rarely makes mistakes, and his preparedness seems to portend a long and solid career. Talents (Stuff/Control/Movement): 72/70/70 Current Ratings: 36/35/35 |
