Can't even sim a single game!

I wanted to use the GForce/Rolen v3 roster set for OOTP 4 with OOTP5. So I downloaded it fresh and imported into OOTP5. So far - everything working great. Took over the Pirates in Manager Mode, shuffled things up, etc. etc. Then I go to start simming. There is one game scheduled for March 31, 2002. It seems to start running the sime when I pick simulate day, but then the game crashed out on me! I tried rebooting and this time just clicked the sim button on the individual game. It seemed to sim the game, and went to Generating Promotion Schedules or whatever, but then crashed in the middle of that. Computer, RAM, etc, seems fine. What could be the problem?

Ok here is a way to fix this, I think. Go to the League setup. Select Schedule editor. now in the bottom right corner there is a spot to select the first day of the season, click that and change it to 3/25. You will also want to change the All Star game date to 7/15 and then go to 7/15 to delete out one of the two all star games. Preferably the one that shows up with no teams listed. If you continue to have problems with this let me know.

Okay - two things - first - I think this was the suggestion for fixing the new TotalMinors League - I tryed importing the GForce/Rolen v3 - there are no games in this set before March 31. Regardless, I tried switching the start date to March 25th, tried simming, still couldn't make it to the next day without crashing. Even remembered to hit "Run Computer Manager" on all teams. Help!
