Discount extended

Since some of you who purchased 2006 didnt get the most recent email (it turns out we're not liked by some of the big ISP spam filters who block the mails from ever getting to you) we've decided to extend the Valentines discount till Friday/Saturday.

This means that today you should be all getting a new mail.

Those of you who purchased the last version PC or Mac will get one code and everyone else (ie people who are on the ootpdev mailing list / downloaded the demo but never purchased) will get a different code.

In addition, the email will explain a pre-order incentive whereby you could be playing a limited preview version of the game at the start of March......

One slight flaw is that the code for people who purchased 2006 expired yesterday ... we're in the process of getting this enabled again.

Little incentive I assume/hope applies to all who have pre-ordered already as well?

Hi Marc,

I tried using the new discount code (I purchased OOTP 2006, BTW) and it told me that the code had expired. Could you check on this?

Oddly enough, I used my original (supposedly expired) discount code and it worked.

OK, I just realized before ordering that the first discount code is only for 10% - it's the one that is accepted. The second code I received (on the 14th) is for 20% and it is saying it's expired.

No problem, I expect a few others to have similar issues.

Hopefully, by the time the west coast arrive at work the issue will be fixed.

Marc, I have emailed you and just today I PMed you about this. I have yet to receive any "discount emails". Even the "newly" released ones. I use yahoo as my email carrier but OOTP is not blocked because I have gotten emails from you guys in the past.

Not sure why, most people who didnt get the 1st mail got the 2nd.
