He will be, he's been found guilty without even having his say, he'll also lose his appeal because Dowd refereed the Middlesbrough v Bristol City game last night and usually if they think a ref as screwed up they take his next game off him. Dowd wasn't even meant to have been the ref in the Arsenal v Wigan game but they said Gallagher couldn't ref because of what happend in the QPR v China game, so pretty obvious that the powers that be believe Dowd so Jewell wont have a leg to stand on. |

What sort of punishment do you think Jewell is looking at?

Depends on what Dowd's put in his report but I'd say a touchline ban and a fine, Whelan's on his side and is loaded so he'll pay the fine. Yesterday Southgate who's Middlesbrough's manager came out and said our refs are the best and so on, so was wondering why he had come out with this statement that was until I saw that Dowd was the ref for last nights Boro v Bristol City game, talk about your butt kissing. |

Unless they free fall and end up getting relegated and can't see that happening, not because their too good to go down but there are worse teams than them that will go down first. Plus with all the fuss that Boro made to get him the job they'd look a bit silly if the sacked him, I'd give him hmmm a year or two at most before he gets fired.
By all accounts life in the land of West Ham isn't going too well, not had a look myself but according to a few Latics fans who visited the West Ham message board they want Curbishley out already

Whelan's been quoted as saying he can have the job as long as he want's but also wouldn't stand in his way if he wanted to leave to go to a bigger club, alot of Wigan fans myself included think that Jewell will walk in a year or two because until we start getting secure in the Premiership we don't have the fanbase or the name to attract decent players, plus Whelan has a salary cap which is the right thing to do imo but means no matter how much we offer teams for players the players wont come because they wouldn't get paid enough. |

Arena needs to learn how to pronounce Mastroeni among 84 other problems with him being in the booth. I dont have a problem with Wynalda, but he's usually better with someone that isn't bordering on ******ed.

Extra time should be in every match in which there is a tie after 90 minutes regardless of competition.

either way, good goal.
