Question: ML Historical Records
In my current league I have played 10 seasons. I can't seem to find where the league historical records are located. For example, where does it show me that player John Batter holds the all-time single season homerun record at 62 set in 2004, and that Harry Pitcher holds the all-time single season wins record at 32 set in 2006. Whenever I try to find such historical single season and/or career statistics all that I see are the stats for the current year being played.
Am I missing something? Can anyone help? Or is this something OOTPB 2006 doesn't feature? If not, it should. Thanks, rocketeer928 GO RED SOX!! |

Check out the Leaderboards section of League History.
One thing I wish 2006 would have carried forward from 6.5 was team and game records. Sadly, those are not there. The best you can get is season and career leaders.

Oh, so what you're saying is that if you're a baseball fan then you have to like the Red Sox? If that's not what you're saying then what the hell is it? I'm a Yankee fan. I'm a baseball fan. I hate the Red Sox, and generally Yankees fans do as well. Sure, it's not a requirement, but for me it's something that I've come to expect.

I'm not a baseball fan; I'm a Mets fan, and I have a lot of sympathy for poor, downtrodden Boston.
Baseball fans don't hate any teams, they just esteem them differently. They may hate particular players, managers or executives, though. I've decided to stay away from anything you post in the future. Too bad, because I'm also a Foreman fan. |

Though I do find it partially amusing that you think that you can dictate who is a fan or not. And it pleases me to hear that you'll no longer read my posts -- actually, it would have pleased me even further had you not replied to my post (that wasn't even directed at you, but 1998Yankees, and was in good, clean fun anyway) in the first place. Cheers! ![]() P.S. The Mets reak of yesterday's rubbish

Well, before this thread goes to OT land, I should clarify this.
Curtis, thanks. You got this right except for the order. I am a Baseball fan first, then a Yankees fan, because without Baseball there would be no Yankees. Yes, I root for the Yankees to win. Always have, always will. However, I do not "hate" any other teams. That is not necessary and there is too much of it in sports today, let alone in our society and culture. I feel a more intense rivalry with some teams, like the Red Sox for the division title and the Mets for the "best in New York" label. That's all. There's no reason for you and ForemanFan to be at odds. He was just responding to my tweak that was, using his words, "good, clean fun." You can stop reading his posts, but I'll continue to read his and yours because you both usually have interesting things to say. |

Good man, good man. Sorry to have brought the thread off topic. I'll let it return to normalcy. But before I depart, here's one last jab-a-roo!

Haha, well, it's better than him coming back to play ball in the NBA (which would be about as strange as his current reality show).
