He aquitted himself well in his rookie season but was unsuccessful when given a shot at the FLY Title. Santos feels that the valuable experience gained this season will give him a good chance for a 2nd Title shot in the FLY EOY Tournament.

I've got a hook-up in one of the nearby buildings and should have a good view.

It's been quite an eyesore for the last several years and its demolition is going to be quite an event for New Haven.

As the results built, I had a feeling it might come down to Ike vs. Tommy. Sure enough Farr sealed the deal for Cawkney.

Looks like my gambit to ignore the Flys entirely came back to haunt me at the end, as not only did they lose their bouts, they gave up big points doing so in pathetic fashion.

Oh, and true to Romy's prediction, the Beavers got a nice helping of nothing from Jhonny G., who not only couldn't finish against the admittedly tough Jeff Chandler, but also got dumped by a guy rated 2 levels below him...

Bernard Taylor earns the post-season MVP for the Beavers - his flawless 4-0 record coming against tough customers like Terry McGovern and Howard Winstone. Another postseason bright spot for the Beavers was Carruthers showing some life - even grabbing a draw against virtually-unbeatable Jeff Chandler. Management is now more inclined to keep him on for another tour of duty in season 4 as a result. Oh, and how about Mando Ramos, champion of the world for 1 whole fight? Jimmy Watt had an opportunity to rest the strap away from Dave Green - I'll have to see what that TD3 was all about.
