Laseron Baseball Opening
The Laseron Baseball Assoiciation is fictional league setup in a fictional world. (See map of Laseron) It has two leagues of two divisions each with five teams, for a total of 20 teams.
![]() Baltica (click here to see their roster) don’t have a lot of talented major leaguers. But they have a highly touted farm system. It is ranked third in the league. Two of their top 100 prospects have made the major league roster this season. But there are three top ten prospects that are a couple of seasons away. ![]() - The league has been in existence since June, 2002. - We are in 23rd season. - We are using v6.51. - Our entire history is stored on Catobase. - We sim one week on Mondays and Wednesdays. And we sim two weeks on Saturday. - The top two teams in each division makes the playoffs. - There is an $85 million salary cap and a $15 million team cash maximum. - We hold a Rule V draft. Statistically, the league mimics the majors late sixties, early seventies. We have a 154 game scheudule. Dominant pitchers can have ERAs below 2.00. But there is a fair amount of offense. We've had one player go 50-50. We've had another player bat .400, while three other players have come close. Still, we regularly have players hit .300 with 20+ HRs and 110+ RBI and win our Rick Blast Award. Managing this teams will be a challenge. But it is not impossible to turn them into winners or, eventually, champions. The league is competitive. There has only been one dominant dynasty in the league’s 22 year history. Although Soni has the makings of a dynasty. The league encourages writing, but the only requirement is respond to trades in a timely manner and remain active with respect to exports and drafts. Don't miss this chance to get in on a great league. I'm in my 3rd sim year and this is one of my favorite leagues (I'm in 6 now - lol).

Top farm system and currently challenging for a playoff spot as of June 7th,1922. A great opportunity for an active GM! If you want the best than here's your chance.

Excellent league, and it looks like activity is at a high level right now. It would be a good time to get in.

Position for the league has been filled. But please stop by and check us out.
If you're looking for a fictional league. i'd also suggest the PABF. Here's the thread: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ad.php?t=21203 Its set in the real world with fictional players. Good pace. Good fun. We're currently in our offseason. Last edited by Dark Horse; 01-22-2007 at 03:03 PM. |
