Don't confuse your players let them settle in, when you take over just go for a simple 4-4-2, 4-5-1 or 5-4-1. Look through your squad and pick say 16 of your best players and stick with them unless say your forward hasn't scored in 15 games and your reserve forward as scored like 20 in 15 reserve games.

Make sure you have the right players in the right positions, unless he's really good it's no use having say a left footed player playing on the right wing. If your Crystal Palace you should be looking in the Premiership reserve teams for loan players specially ones that are around the low to mid 20 age group, I wouldn't bother looking in Europe just stick with looking in England.

Stick with it though, if your 4-4-2 system with players A, B, C and so on gets beat 2-1 for a couple of games don't change it to say 3-5-2 and players X, Y, Z or you'll cause unrest in your squad and confuse your team.

Ah, ok. I didn't realize that the players got confused and upset. I've been messing around with the formations constantly and I'll check out the reserve squads. I'll try some mo' patience.

The link was for the 06 game not the 07 game, if you have the 07 game don't load it as the rosters in the 07 are as up to date as possible as the transfer window in real life only just opened.

Athens Olympians - Obvious reason.

Athens High Tops - Athens started of as a hill-fort on top of the Acropolis (High City)

It's also surrounded by mountains so anything to do with that could be a nickname.

Russ..try to hire a coach to train each of the eight areas of training..look for the coaches training specific area and their mental ability is very important. This should help you turn things around.

Strength: fitness >= 18
Aerobic: fitness >= 18
Goalkeeping: coaching Gks >= 18
Tactics: tactical >= 18

Defending: defending = 18 & tactical >= 18 or
Defending: defending = 19 & tactical >= 14 or
Defending: defending = 20 & tactical >= 10

Ball Control: technique = 18 & mental >= 18 or
Ball Control: technique = 19 & mental >= 14 or
Ball Control: technique = 20 & mental >= 10

Attacking: attacking = 18 & tactical >= 18 or
Attacking: attacking = 19 & tactical >= 14 or

Today was the first time in FM I have ever had a team collect 100 points over the course of a season.
My America de Cali side has gone 31-8-6 over 45 games and have 101 points.
Still three games to play too

Also they have scored over 100 goals on the season which I think is also a new record for me

I have such limited time that I was able to do about three games a week doing write ups

I never would have made it very far.

There is a Colombian striker 'Falcao' that is amazing in my Dortmund game. He has amazing upside. I think he is playing for River in Argentina.

Yes I know
He is still at River late in 2007 in my game.
Everytime he starts to attract interest, he gets injured

Wason Renteria is another Colombian to look out for. He plays for Internacional in my game and is going to go to Europe at some point and light it up.

But the most amazing young player so far is Kerlon.
He has moved to Portugal for 17.5 million USD and is lighting it up.
He is going to be huge a few years down the road.

Falls will probably back me up on this but sometimes you don't have the time to write up, then you get the times were you sim say two games and just can't be bothered to write then you sim a couple more games and before you know it you've simmed that far in front you can't be bothered looking back at stuff to type up
