Expansion

I am in trouble already. I just completed the world series. I added two teams to the AL in the west and central divisions. I plan to stock the two teams from the free agent pool. The logos for the two new teams come from Oakland and Baltimore. I started to edit market size, merchandising money, TV money, etc.
It appears that these edits are screwing up the Oakland and Baltimore existing finances. My question. Am I doing this wrong ?
What is the proper procedure ? How do I add new logos, team id numbers, etc. Also, on the standings page it now has the incorrect teams listed for results of divisional playoffs, league championship series, & world series. Luckily, the league is backed up. Please help.

I've followed Scott Vibert's guide to expansion many times, and I've never had any problems.

here's the link.

I'm not sure this has been covered, but will OOTP5 handle expansion better?

No thanks for no option, but at least thanks for replying, I'm sure Phil's jealous with his situational lefties thread
