Fixed (and I think we need a better analogy, that doesn't make OOTP2006 look good at all! )

That sort of politics has no point here.

There's a reason why it has smileys.

Smileys, no smileys, it's OT.

Sorry if I sound rude.

That was my bad. CC was just playing off of what I said, us being OT sparing partners and all.

Like it or not, this could be the most profound statement in this thread.

I brought up online leagues first, and all I get is Curtis and his condescending attitude BS.

Treches brings it up, and Cooley and CC go nuts about how right he is.

Damn East Coast bias. hrmph.

Based on the low priority given online functionality, this is obviously not a sentiment shared by SI or Markus

Intersting phrasing, what sort of politics does have a point here? I'm sure you only objected because he didn't agree with your politics.

My condescending attitude is a carryover from the 'Never Ending Spring Training' thread in the Technical Support forum. I remembered you contributing to that, but I didn't remember that you were one of the more polite contributors. I would apologize, but I can't think of a sufficiently condescending way in which to do so.

When I made the post last night that got you all het up, I was high on life and enjoying myself more than a body has a right to. Obviously you were in the opposite situation. I'm sorry I offended you, but since it was explained to you (and some others) in that other thread that online gamers are in no worse shape under 2006 than they were in 6.51, it seemed like unneccessary carping that you would then immediately bring up the same thing again here before the first thread grew cold. So, I poked some fun at it, rather than get bent out of shape. You should try it, if you manage to locate your sense of humor.

There, I think that did it.

This is a baseball section of the forum. There is also a political section for those who are interested.

I think it had to do more with the fact that this not OT.

No politics in General Discussions.

. . .and if you'd care to check mine, I would not vote for Bush.

Well, at least you're doing your best. I'm sorry you can't seperate a current Tech Support thread from a thread discussing the future of the game.

Ah, but they *are* in worse shape, You wouldn't know that, though, as you have professed your love for solo play and your entire OOTP career will go without online leagues.

Please believe me when I say you will have to do much, much better than that to get me bent out of shape. I suppose I could have added [sarcasm] tags to my previous post, but I figured that people would get the point without. Guess not.

I don't know who explained that (not you, I suppose, since you said you're are yet to play this game online), but I disagree with that statement.
