Yet further evidence why video technology is needed in sport in some form.

It will come but it doesn't belong in football, footballs to fast paced to keep stopping it every 5 minutes. They have it in the NFL which suits it as it's a stop start sport so doesn't ruin the flow of the game same in rugby but again it's a stop start sport as is cricket but football isn't anything like these sports.

I love Arsene Wenger's take on it.

Quote:
Wenger echoed Mourinho's call, saying: "It's a very good idea.

"I've said it many times because it happens in France. In France there is two divisions difference and you cannot come up.
So if it happens in France, it should happen everywhere else according to him.

Former Kansas City Wizards forward Josh Wolff has left Major League Soccer for Germany, as the 29-year-old officially joined 2. Bundesliga side (second division) 1860 Munich on Wednesday on a contract that runs through the 2007-08 European season.

"Obviously, we've been checking out 1860 for a while now, through my agent, myself," Wolff said in a press conference Wednesday in Germany. "Once we knew there was some interest and I was coming over and training, you start to follow the results, the team, the guys. I came over and got to train and meet everyone and see the facility and obviously [general manager] Stefan Reuter and the trainer.

"It's a good experience all in all. That, I think, was the one real proving point to try and work out a deal and certainly once that was agreed upon, I would sign on. I'm very excited about the opportunity and it's a great club with a lot of tradition and history and I'm hoping for great things while I'm here. I'm really excited."

I wonder if he'll do better in Germany than Landon?

Not good news for Kansas City though - no stadium to play in with Arrowhead being closed, the new SSS they had planned to start building being voted against by local voters, and now losing one of their better players on a team that finished in the Eastern Conference cellar in 2006.

KC should play in Arrowhead Stadium. The fact that Wolff in going to a lower German Division maybe is a statement about his talent and the demand for him. Maybe it was better for KC to let him go than pay him a big contract.

Well they've got to find somewhere for next season at least as Arrowhead will be out of use for the renovations that were voted in favour of (as well as Kauffman Stadium), and with Lamar Hunt no longer owning them and MLS wanting teams to build their own stadium I'm not sure how much longer they will want to play at Arrowhead.

With the patch-fix finally out, FM has finally become the awesome finished product that SI planned. The subtle but important changes made to the game make it a very different game than 2006. For L(ower)L(eague)M(anager)'s, the game had become much more challenging and unpredictable.

Sounds like you've been posting over at the SI boards.

There is a lot of important info over there.

If you know where to put the real Premiership kits and logos in the proper FM files to make them appear, would you tell me, please?

I don't know, I'm afraid. I'm sure the graphics forum will have something about it - or even the read me if there is one with the file you downloaded.

Well I missed it, sadly.
As for his fiancee (according to Wiki ), I wouldn't know about her hands, but there is an interesting first photo if you put "Bianca Kajlich" into Google Image Search.

I'm always on the lookout for good sites for European teams specially non English speaking countries and just found another good one, Slavia Prague.

They have a cool idea on the tickets info part of the site were if you scroll down and click on the photos of each sector link it then takes you to the stadium plan, click on any part of the stadium a picture pops up of what your view would be sat in that section, very nice idea.

Unlike the usual Cribs guest his house is just on a normal street and only has two cars and one of those he got for player of the season which his lady drives, he drives a Jag although no idea how long ago it was filmed.

Sparta Prague's is a good one as well, specially the anthems part although would have been better to have heard sound clips from actual games rather than studio clips.

http://www.sparta.cz/en/hp.shtml

I'd rate both the Prague teams and FC Ameri (Georgia) as the top 3 I've found so far.
