Control/Movement Ratings Over 100 Don't Display?

I've kinda noticed this before, but never really thought about it.

Our league uses the 1-100 ratings scale and we have the option set to display ratings over 100. Apparently though, from what I've noticed, even if a pitcher's Control or Movement Talents exceed 100, the rating displayed never rises past 100. I've seen ratings over 100 for Power, Eye, and Stuff.

Does this mean that even though a pitcher's talent in Movement and Control can exceed 100, the rating never will develop past 100? or does it mean that it actually CAN exceed 100, but that, for some reason for these 2 categories, the rating displayed is never past 100 (but is higher behind the scenes)?

I've seen both control and movement scores higher than 100.

It's pretty rare, and in both cases it was for pitchers with extreme L/R splits. But I don't think they're hidden.

Let me add something to my post - you're right, I also have seen ratings over 100 in the vs L and vs R categories when there are extreme splits.

What I should have said above is that I've never seen the OVERALL Control or Movement rating go higher than 100. Even if a guy has a talent of 140, the overall rating never develops past 100.

Is this by design? Has anyone else seen the Overall rating past 100? Or am I missing something?

An easy way to check is to go to the league setup ->display all players of league and then sort by movement.

I'm pretty sure I've seen ratings over 100 for movement before, but I may be mistaken.

That's exactly what I did first before I posted here. No players in the league ever have Overall Movement or Control ratings over 100 - only in the vs L or vs R categories because of extreme splits.

Either they never develop past 100 by design (but then why have Talents that are much higher that can never be approached?) or they do develop but for some reason those 2 particular categories never display over 100 ratings, even if the option to display ratings over 100 is selected.
