How idiotic was it that SI, an English company, didnt accept the pound?

How idiotic is it that SI cant release the same version of FM in North America as they do in the rest of the world?

A huge but not so annoying bug in FM 7.0.1

Offer a player of yours signed years into the future. If he rejects the contract his contract suddenly ends that same year. Great way of dumping expensive contracts.

Does anyone know if the FA Trophy final is being player on May 20th?

Also, the off-season break for Leigh is only a month in FM2007. Is this realistic?

Yes to the first, you'll have to ask UKHS or Zoraster about the second.

It would be a mockery if the corporate team got promoted. But's it going to happen I can see it.
And it now means the two best teams won't be promoted this year.

Henrik Larsson joins Manchester United.

Quote:
Manchester United will sign veteran striker Henrik Larsson on a three-month loan deal in January.

The 35-year-old former Celtic striker will leave current club Helsingborg on 1 January and will return on 12 March in time for the Swedish season.

Larsson said: "United have been after me before, after the first or second season with Celtic.

"It feels good to come and play for such a big club. I may not start every match, but it feels like a fun thing."

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is short of options up front, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer injured and Alan Smith still seeking full fitness.

That leaves Wayne Rooney and Louis Saha as his only recognised strikers.

Ferguson said: "I have always admired Larsson. I made a move for him when he was at Celtic but then they managed to persuade him to stay.

"He is a great player. It is a terrific bit of business for us. We are bringing someone in who can change a game.

Desperation blues, desperation blues ? Even at 35 he's still one of the top out and out goalscorers in football, ammount of chances United create he'll get his share of goals and the likes of Rooney can only learn from him.

Always looked down on because he played most of his career in Scotland but not for him Barcelona wouldn't have won the Champions League, plus always scored at International level something like a goal every 3 games.

imo and I know him being an ex Celtic player and forever a Celtic legend I can be biased but to me one of the best and most underated players in the last 10+ years.

I might be the only one to say this but why not try out Cristiano Ronaldo as a striker?

Already been done, plus you take away your best winger so narrows the pitch down. United have plenty of players with flair but they need a Shearer type player who can just get the ball in the net Larsson can do that job even though only for a few months, if I was United I'd go after Dean Ashton when he's fit and proved himself after his injury, I reckon he would make a great partnership with Rooney and can't wait for him to get into the England team.

And rightly so, bit like saying Babe Ruth was an ok baseball player by the way Leigh won last night 2-0.

I know they played him as supporter to Wayne Rooney in the mid-week match against Everton but he played quite well when he had the ball.

So, what's the correct way of saying/spelling Verses over there in the good ol' United Kingdom? I've heard it both ways (verses/v) and written both ways (vs/v)

I don't think there is a "correct way". I prefer the first of each, but I think it's each to his own really.

Not to bad against the lesser teams were they can play their second string winger on the flanks but can't see them doing it against top teams, trust me Larsson will do a job for them and they already have Rooney and Saha with the likes of Smith, Solskjaer coming back from injuries, there's also Rossi so not like their going to be bringing 16 year old youth team players in and then there's the transfer window not long away.
