If I was running MLS I would make two rules for anyone investing.
1 - The team name must contain a mention to the area that the team plays in.
I mean changing the name every two minutes to suit your needs won't help build a history will it?

2 - You have to build a soccer stadium.

Those would show commitment to what is the league's supposed aim - improving the level of American soccer players.

A killing by a foreign gvt on British soil. I never thought I would live to see the day that Brits would passivly accept this. Maybe you were right that the Muslims will conquer Italy and Spain within 50 years..and eventually all of Europe. Its as if Europes will to resist has been drained to 0.

I've got enough health problems to worry about, before thinking about terrorists trying to kill me as well.

And also I doubt I'm that representative of most Brits either.

I was referring more towards the governments reaction. I havent seen anything. Maybe they are trying to do something behind the scenes. Remember that the Russians also tried to murder the Ukranian President right before the election. These Russians are worse than the Soviets in terms of their public behavior.

Your going to go your going to go isn't worth worrying about is it, I picture the next life being able to go watch baseball games when I want and football games when I want without having to pay to get there and no need for money to get in a bit of a Field of Dreams thing, guess what nobody can prove me wrong that this wont happen so I'm happy in that knowledge of what the future holds

Cheltenham Town's former star midfielder Grant McCann scored the injury time winner for Barnsley this afternoon. McCann, a Northern Irish international, is on loan at the Championship club after he said he wanted to try his luck at a higher level.

To be fair he is our best player, and we are hurtling back to League Two with no money. He at least will give us money - if he had wanted to be really spiteful, he could go for nothing in the summer.

The fans of the Washington Senators rioted at their last game of the 1971 MLB season when they had already said they were moving to Arlington to become the Texas Rangers. They entered the playing surface at RFK Stadium (after holding up abusive banners to the owner at the time, Robert Short, during the game) during the 9th inning as the Senators were heading towards a victory over the New York Yankees, ripping up the bases and turf. The game was forfeited by Washington after the umpires called it off for the players' safety.
