At the end of the 1st half the germans have managed to do something few others have done: Hold Drogba and Essien in check. Ballack isnt much of a factor and Schevchenko is on the bench.

Why would it offend me? Its kinda funny in an angry abusive way.

Acktor is such a robotic voice though. he takes fanboyism a bit to far IMO.

It seems to me that by playing games in the dead of winter in Northern Europe you are just begging to get your multimillionaire players injured. I move for leagues to be run from March to November.

Most leagues do have a winter break around the turn of the year.
March-November will not happen in this country because football doesn't want to raise the ire of cricket especially and rugby league of shifting their season to match theirs.
Also I'm not sure clubs would want a World Cup/European Championship right in the middle of the club season.

Jose Mourinho has said he should be okay for Sunday's game against Man United, but yes he limped off with an ankle injury.

I know it will never happen but playing in freezing weather is just so much harder on a body.
