Nope. Only in articles from newspapers on the web. "Silicon Valley" or "Fremont" has also been mentioned, but seriously everyone knows that the A's owner wants "San Jose" as the name - after all he wanted to be allowed to go there.
I just hope he finds a stadium for the Earthquakes as well. |

An update on the one J. League applicant.
It looks all over for Kyushu-based Rosso Kumamoto's hopes of promotion to J. League Division 2 in 2007, after they yet again failed to win. This time they drew 2-2 with 6th ranked Yokogawa Musashino, and so are five points behind 2nd placed Sagawa Kyubin Tokyo with just four games to go.

Finally, SI have confirmed what I already knew about the reason they don't have the J. League.
In response to a list of questions from a user, Francis Cole said regarding the J. League. Quote:
On another note, thank goodness we didn't get merged there. The people over there are some of the most ignorant and abusive people I've seen. |

They have gone for a hard-edged realism at the expense of flexibility and fun. And they didnt finish the editor meaning many things cant be altered.

Who knew??
No more scouting outside England No more hiring more than 3-4 coaches lower attendence with much greater payroll issues do to new bonuses like win/appearance bonuses Also, the mechanism for loading players from other countries really sucks. Its a dropdown menu that only lets you click one nation at a time and goes back to the top.

After all we have that stupid "Team Talk" stuff that is about as useful as a chocolate teapot in its execution. It was like that in FM06. |

I think I'm safe to post the latest Pythagorean Premiership table now, without spoiling any results for anyone.
