Fun stuff.
It won't have matter where you placed you 9s and 8s with your most of your guys at beginner and giving up 5 points to the established teams your guys are just flat out out-gunned. Plus, the Barbarians are one of the hottest teams in the UTBA at the moment. All the expansion teams probably won't be ready to really contend until your third season when your fighters start going Prime.

Well guys.........I'm sorry for the delay in posting the results today. I kinda of let everyone down. It looked as though everybody was waiting and ready for this season to start and I had to spend time watching the Cornhuskers and time with the family. I'll do my best to see that family doesn't get in the way of my TBCB time in the future.

Wow - some pretty lucky results from Bonner Springs. I'm not sure what is more surprising, beating Chuvalo twice, Oba Carr failing to win, or Mando Ramos beating Diego Corrales.

Lots of competition for MVP in week one, but after my earlier comments on Matt Skelton, I think he might deserve the honor.

Tough luck Dave, but I have a feeling come playoff time, Tomato City will be around.

Wow, well we've got a new rookie scoring record for biggest win, most points, and I think most KOs. All those trades worked out well for ya SAL. I feel for Bronx you know it's going to be a long season for the him and his guys when you get blown out by another expansion team.

The Beavers came out in top form for this match, now the question is can they keep it going or are they going to stay on that win/loss/win/loss rhythm they were on last season and I agree with Matt that I expect Dave and Tomato City to be right there in the playoff hunt in the end.

I can forgive you for the Cornhuskers but your family I expected better from you SAL. I expect you to get yourself right for next weekend and be ready to blow off the family to make sure we get our results in a timely fashion.

I'd like to know where the heck Skelton learned to stop fights from, he scored a whole two stoppages the whole season and quarter he was with the Muckboys. I'm not happy with this turn of events.

Congrats to the mighty Bears on a good win. At least Elley Bennett won the title, giving us two champs.

I was hoping for big wins against the other expansion teams with the trades I pulled off.........not huge ones like this. I'd like to thank k_c for scheduling my Mitt Slingers an expansion team right out of the gate.

YES, the streak is over I didn't suffer the first DQ loss of the season. How about them Bears thats three in a row for them, they might very well challenge for the division title this season.

Yes it does might I make a suggestion for next time it's pretty simple and you only need duct tape, some chairs, and a big closet.

Yeah, I don't think anyone expect the Mitt Slingers to win that big you don't get much bigger wins then that. Next week we'll see just how good the y'all boys with Tile Hill coming to town. Those are some tough cats right there.

Hey Romdawg, please forgive my ignorance, but why is your avatar Aussie boxer Tony Wehbee?

Cheers,

I'm hoping we can and that some of my draft day decisions don't come back and bite me. When do I meet the guys SAL trounced?

That's it...I quit Ahh, I expected as much. In all honesty, I really didn't research my fighters stats all that much, I pretty much picked guys at random just to have a little fun. Hey, someone has to be the stepping stone right?
Although, I am curious how the scorecards looked in my losses.

Huskers and family would have been preferable to my 13-hour work day (though I would have lost some fingernails and heart wall cells watching the game...)!

Wow... Tomato City got really pounded. My guys just didn't show up. I'm shocked that Chuvalo got TKO'd twice, Carr going 0-1-1, and Pintor going 0-1-1. New guy Corrales also getting off to a slow start 0-1-1 and getting TKO'd by Mando Ramos (I guess he's sore about getting dumped in the off-season)

Outside of McGovern retaining his title and Garder winning both of his fights, the only other bright spot was Anton Raadik's U12 victory against Charles Kid McCoy (at least Carmen Basilio is no longer around).

What a sorry opening round. Hoping for a "we're really pissed off" bounce-back next round against the expansion Dublin Guards.
