If I was the Newcastle Chairman I'd phone Whelan at Wigan ask him can he speak to Jewell the Latics manager (Whelan as said to repay Jewell for what he's done for Wigan he would never refuse him permission to talk to anyone), then if I was Newcastle's chairman I'd get down on my hands and knees and beg Jewell to be their next manager as imo he's the best English manager in the Prem by far.

You'd need some money, great support and great local money going into the club but outside money I don't think Newcastle bring in that much say like a Man Utd or Liverpool.

All you have to do to pass of as someone from Newcastle is walk round in short sleeves even if it's zero, no joke crazy people, next time you watch a Newcastle game take note of the ammount of fans not wearing any tops no matter what the weather.

They are close to Leeds to having a lock on the north country.
I lived with a friend about 20 km outside of Newcastle in the summer of 2000 and it seemed like everyone was a Castle fan.
We did a little traveling around that area of the country and it was about the same everywhere.
Everyone was either a Leeds or Castle fan.

You are right of course. But I think the support is there if they put a great product out onto the pitch.

You are right of course. But I think the support is there if they put a great product out onto the pitch.

Alot of teams have got great support, Newcastle, Man City, Leeds, Everton and so on it's just finding that outside money like Man Utd do with fans all over the world. Be interesting to see if it's out there on the web on the break down of teams cash flow on how much % comes from outside England, I know Wigans would be something like 99.5% comes from England and 0.5% of income comes from outside England may even be less than 0.5%, maybe even only 0.5% outside of Wigan as were just a locally supported club.

It will be in FM06, but it will start in 2006 (I've added the modified J. League in basic mode to allow this).
