The Fellowship of Respect and Trust is looking for 2 Owners

The Fellowship of Respect and Trust (a.k.a. FORT) is looking for a GM to fill the Chicago Cubs and Anaheim Agnels. We are a historical league in it's 21st season using the Lahman database.

The Cubs are in the beginning stages of a rebuild, and I have traded away most of the bigger pieces for youth and prospects. They are at least 2-3 seasons away from being good. I'm looking for someone who is willing to take some time in a rebuild.

The Angels have a solid young core with probably the best young hitter under 25, and a few other peices of note. Another team that is rebuilding, but in a season or two with some good pitching, this could be a contending team

We are still using 6.5, and are looking to switch to the new version at some point in the not-too-distant future, but we have yet to set a specific date.

I wanted to push this up one more time. We are league with 20+ years of history, a VERY active core, and two teams that are in pretty decent shape to start a push in a season or two. Please come take a look if yo uare interested, and hit me up on aim (rfbranch2000) if you would like to join.

I think if you ask my GMs, they will tell you I am a VERY dedicated commish who stresses the importance of communication and dedication in myself and also my GMs.

I wanted to take this opportunity to shill for FORT....

This is the most competitive league you'll ever be in. FORT has probably the highest number of intelligent owners of any league I've been involved in as a player. I'm not saying the situation is perfect- there are a few bad owners, some of the stats are off the wall, etc. But you'll be hard pressed to find a bigger challenge than winning in this league.

great, well-run (and consistently run) historical league. and a great group of core owners with interesting personalities as well. if you want an active league, i get about 10 aim messages per day on average regarding this league... not that you probably have to be that active, but it's great to see that happens in a league, if you're shopping for one.
