cheating owners questions................

I think i have someone in my league thats more than one owner. I was wondering if someone could look at my owners page and tell me if they reconize any of the names as cheaters.

thanks

It may not be conclusive to just go by the names since a cheater probably fakes these, although you can look for trends. A name changer may use certain similar names or email addresses or utilize the same email provider each time.

I notice your owner page is very incomplete. Some teams list only a first name and some teams list no name, just an email address!
I think it would not be out of line for team owners to provide full names.

I agree with LivnLegend that requiring full information like a first and last name is good policy and a partial deterrant to cheating. It's easier to come up with a second AIM screen name and a free E-Mail account, than it is to come up with a name and good backstory, since most people who cheat aren't willing to put that much into things. Also, it creates a much friendlier atmosphere to trade with people that have names to address them by rather than just screennames like Trollmaster.

I also took some time to look at your website and am sending you a private message about an easy way to confirm suspicions about cheating owners that I found handy when I used to play in FPS leagues a few years ago that could work for your situation.

Scary. With that many AOL, Hotmail and Yahoo addys, 75% of your league could be cheaters :-)

There are definitely some suspect handles in that list eg. "dicknoze69" WTF? Was "MikeHunt" already taken?
